Music Therapy

Harp Therapy Journal - Each issue contains articles on where and how harp therapy is implemented, and provides information on current harp therapy programs.


Barbara Crowe - This Director of Music Therapy at Arizona State University conducts research and writes about music's healing properties from the perspective of Complexity Science and Chaos Theory.


Stanley Jordan - This jazz guitarist is a spokesperson for music therapy. He meets with music therapists to observe their work wherever he performs, and is studying music therapy at Arizona University. He speaks of Barbara Crowe, a leader in the music therapy field who conducts studies at Arizona University, and her work with the healing energies of music: "Many people are looking for ways to use sound vibrations to heal physical parts such as internal organs. Barbara Crow(e) is suggesting to go even beyond that and use the sound to, in effect, reprogram the person's overall energy field so that their healing can take place naturally and at all levels. To me this is the highest dream of holistic healing."
