SONORA is an original composition for solo pedal harp. This piece began as an exercise in changing all pedals.

It starts in a natural key, transitions to all-flats, and returns again to the natural key. Pedal changes are in the B sections, one or two at a time, while alternating between two chords - these B sections can be played as written or completely improvised.

SONORA can be paired with my harp composition SAPPHIRE - with its final chord, Sapphire leads directly into Sonora.
